Composum Pages provides a number of tag libraries to support creating JSPs , and dialog widgets for creating editing dialogs. These allow easy creation of custom components for your site. Of course, the Pages editor is implemented using these APIs, and since it's open source it also provides quite a number of examples for their use. It uses a REST API to edit pages, allowing extension of the editor itself if needed.
